A heartfelt thanks and welcome to The Right Reverend Henry Joseph King, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of the Pacific and Southwest of the Anglican Rite Catholic Church, for his second Episcopal Visitation to our parish and for preaching, celebrating the Mass, and confirming our three candidates.

Thanks to Steven Gallardo for leading the recitation of the Holy Rosary.

Congratulations again to our three confirmands: Ann Hanna, Andrew Stipkovich, and Michael Stipkovich.

And thanks to all who cleaned and decorated the Church for this event: Kitty and Susan Pike, Beth Kubo, Gretchen Martin, and Larry and Sande Gleason.

It is meet, right, and our bounden duty to render thanks unto Thee, O Almighty Father, for the example and witness, the Dormition and continuing prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who by the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost conceived in her womb thy only-begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Grant us, O merciful God, protection in our weakness; that we who celebrate the memory of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God may, through the aid of her intercession, be strengthened in the trials of this life and comforted in the hour of our death; Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

O blessed Mother of God, Mary ever-Virgin, hallowed of the Holy Spirit, Bearer of our Lord Jesus Christ, Queen of Heaven and of All Saints: pray for the people, help thou the suffering, strengthen the faint-hearted, comfort the sorrowful, intercede for the dying. May all those who celebrate thy holy festival rejoice in the help of thy prayer.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
