Midweek Mass this week will be celebrated on Tuesday, beginning at 10 am. The Mass commemorates the feast day of St. Wilfrid, bishop in Northumbria in the 7th Century. Wilfrid was noted for his work in founding and ruling monasteries. He was also frequently at odds with the local clergy and nobles, leading to multiple exiles, imprisonment, and even a (overturned) excommunication.
