Next Sunday, we will celebrate a High Mass on “All Saints Sunday”, being the Sunday nearest the Feast of All Saints (1 November). 31 October is All Saints’ Eve, from which comes the name “All Hallows Eve” (aka, Hallowe’en). At the 10 am Mass, the Sacrament of Holy Confirmation will be administered to recent candidates who attended the adult study sessions. If you have a family member who recently departed this life, please provide the name to the Bishop this week for remembrance at the Altar at next Sunday’s Mass.
