The victims of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 will be remembered at the Mass for Patriots’ Day, including the tolling of the Church bell fifty times for the fifty states of our nation.

Wednesday, 18 July, a Mass for Widows and Widowers will be celebrated at 10 am followed by a Dutch-Treat Brunch. You don’t have to be either; all are welcome to join us for the service or the meal.

The Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin will be celebrated at Mass on the 1st of July. As has been our custom with the various feasts of our patron, there will be an optional recitation of the Rosary beginning at 9:15 am. Stephen Gallardo will officiate.

The Long-Range Planning Committee will meet at 7:00 on Monday at the Kubo’s.

You are cordially invited to participate in a community-wide collective volunteer effort to pick fresh citrus fruit and deliver it to food banks to benefit needy San Fernando Valley residents. Volunteers are needed to staff the central collection points. Shifts are from 9-12 and 12-3.
